THE DESIGN
At the heart of this necklace hangs an irregular faceted pear-shaped natural citrine gemstone — loaded with rainbows — dangling from a second irregular natural citrine above it. Four stations of larger, irregularly hammered natural citrine gemstones with rich natural sparkle punctuate the strand, catching light with every movement.
Between the stations, golden and brandy citrine in various sizes and cuts mix with lustrous pond slime baroque pearls (rich, thick lustre), large mystic crystal quartz rondelles, mystic ivory faceted moonstones, brandy citrine faceted rondelles, smooth mother of pearl round beads, large faceted dark golden pyrite rondelles, and silver grey freshwater pearls.
Every stone is individually wire wrapped on sterling silver wires and headpins, accented with fancy zinc alloy bead caps, silver alloy daisies, silver hematite rondelles, and golden bead caps throughout. The necklace closes with a sterling silver box clasp set with a cabochon citrine.
