THE DESIGN
Oxidized and polished sterling silver gives these open hoops a richly detailed framework, with bright highlights playing against the darker silver. Sterling rolo chains follow the bottoms, while wire-wrapped blue turquoise rondelles trace each side.
A large faceted green turquoise briolette anchors the bottom of each earring.
Smaller faceted Sleeping Beauty turquoise briolettes sit to either side, followed by faceted green turquoise teardrops. Each briolette is individually wrapped in oxidized sterling silver wire.
Between the briolettes, dangling clusters of pink coral, blue turquoise, and green chalcedony rondelles gather on sterling silver pins and ball headpins.
Light blue aquamarine rondelles finish the ends of the bottom chains with a delicate contrast to the saturated turquoise.
Within each hoop, another faceted green turquoise teardrop dangles with pink coral and turquoise rondelles, carrying the color into the open center without filling its airy outline.
